"Here you go, Ms Rose, Mr Luscin said to read the files and this documents, it's about your new case" Nina said almost out of her breathe. When I looked up at her, she was panting.

"Are you okay, Nina?" I frowned and she quickly nodded her head gving me a small smile.

Strange.

Few minutes passed and it was silent as I checked the papers and the documents. Nina was arranging the books on the book shelf. She kept taking small glances at me and when I looked at her she looked away. It's really uncomfortable. I was about to asked her if anything happened but that's when a knock on the door interrupted me.

Knock knock*

"Come in" I answered.

The door got opened revealing a tall and elegant man wearing dark suit and pant. His features were dark and there was a long scar on his face. He slowly stalked towards me with his hands inside his pocket causing me to arched my eyebrow.

"I'm sorry but who are you?" I asked standing up with arm crossed over my chest causing him to smiled at me.

"You don't know me, dear. But I know you better than anyone else" he spoke, his voice dark and enchanting. I couldn't helped but slightly frowned at him.

What?

I glanced at Nina and she swallowed hard looking down.

"I'm Angelo D'amico.. " he held out his hand for me to shake causing my eyes to grew widened. Angelo D'amico?! The most dangerous and powerful underground Mafia leader?! I glanced at his held hand then looked back-up at him gulping.

Why is he here? Is he going to kill me?? God.

"I'm not going to kill you, dear. Never" he lightly laughed. I give him a small smile slowly giving my shaky hand into his, shaking. My heart was pumping wildly against my chest.

Did I said that loudly?

"Non posso unccidere mia figlia, vero?" He spoke in foreign tongue. I couldn't helped but slightly frowned as I didn't understand what he just said. (I can't kill my own daughter, right?)

"You're exactly like your mother, an angel" he said and my eyes grew widened once again. "You were only five and..  now your grown up into such a intelligent beautiful lawyer. How time flies right?" He sighed. A small smile playing on his face.

How does he know my mom?? How does he know me?? why do he looked so familiar? Everything is so confusing.

Thousands of questions running in my head and I was afraid to asked him.

"I would like to talk with you alone" he said sitting down on the chair with his one leg crossed over another and spread arms. I glanced at Nina and she quickly nodded her head before stalking out from my office.

"What do you want to talk about Mr D'amico? How can I help you?" I asked.

"It's time for you to know who I'm.. figlia" he said causing me to frowned in confused. But I already know him, I mean who doesn't know him. He's Angelo D'amico, the most powerful and dangerous underground Mafia Leader. People feared him and what else there's to know about him?

Oh and he kill people without thinking twice.

I stayed silent watching him as he pulled out a cigarette and lit up. A low gasp left my lips when he pulled out a silver gun out from his waistband and put it down on my desk.

He's definitely going to kill me.

As he opened his mouth to speak, my office door got swinging opened revealing a very angry Mob boss Mason, But Angelo wasn't seemed to be bothered by that because all he was doing  just smirking.

"Welcome Mason.. " Angelo said without looking back at him. Mason's eyes met mine and he immediately got softened. His shoulder tensed as he stalked towards me.

How does he know Mason? What the hell is going on?!

"Are you okay, bella?" He asked, worried and concerned spread all over his face as he gently cupped my face. I give him a small smile slowly nodding my head.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Mason snapped at Angelo causing his smirk to grew widened.

"C'mon Mason, I've every right to meet my own daughter, no?" He replied. As soon as those words left his mouth my eyes went widened.

What?

His own daughter- wait what?! that means Angelo freaking D'amico is my father?!

"W-what?" I gasped, couldn't believing my ears.

"I don't believe you" I whispered shooting him a dead glare and he let out a sighed. "He's lying, right Mason?" I asked looking up at him.

No reply, he was just looking down.

"It's the truth, I'm your father, figlia " He said standing up from his seat.

"Stop lying! My father is dead for me! And do you think I'm a fool to believe that you're my father?!" I asked, my eyebrows coming together feeling anger taking it's place inside me. I could see the pain and guilty in his eyes as he took a deep breathe.

He just can't come from nowhere and tell me he's my freaking father. He can't expect me to believe him. My father is dead for me the night he left us.

"Your favourite colour black, you love chocolate ice cream, once when you were little, you come to me with a rose in your those small cute hands and told me I'm your first love, remember? We used to made big snowman together, we used to sneak out from our home to get you ice cream hiding from your mother, remember?" He says, a smile twitching on his lips and I felt as I couldn't breathe anymore.

My dad was standing right in front of me.

"I'm your father, my little princess.. " He said and I felt my eyes getting watered. My father? The man I used to love so much, the man I used to call my hero, my dad, my first love, the man who broke my mom's heart and mine as well, the man who left us without thinking about us for once, the man who didn't even give a fuck about us nor cared about us, the man who didn't even called for once to asked if we're okay in those painful past years, the man for whom my mom cried every night when he left us and everything behind was now back, in front of me.

I didn't knew what to do, should I yell at him? Should I be happy or upset because he's back?? I couldn't think what to do. I was freezed in my place with shocked and tears in my eyes.

"Why are you back? You left us, remember?" I said, my voice cracking. "You left us without saying anything. You never cared about us. You cheated on my mother! You never loved us! You left us and everything for another woman!" I raised my voice. I could felt Mason staring at me with little surprised.

"This is not the tru-"

"Than what's the truth?! Give me a reason for god sake. Why did you left us?! In those past years why didn't you called us for a once to asked if we were okay?! Tell me!"

"Because I was a fucking Mafia leader, Ellie! I couldn't take the risk to put your life in danger! And you're wrong if you're thinking I never cared about you and Julia because I fucking did! In those past years I'd to stay away from my family and you because I was Waiting for the right time! I couldn't took the risk to lose you!" My dad, I assumed, raised his voice.

"What do you think Ellie? I didn't missed you? I didn't loved you?? God, I love you so goddammit much daughter, I wished I could explained that. I missed you and Julia every single time. And those past years, Maybe I didn't called you but I'd my eyes on you and Julia every single time to know how are you doing, if you're safe, Maybe I couldn't be there with you when you needed me the most but I was with you, from your graduation to how intelligent and beautiful you've grown up into, a highly successful lawyer. Even in your birthday I was there but you didn't knew that!"

Tears were now flowing down my cheeks.

"And about the cheating thing.. I'd never cheated on Julia.. " he said breathlessly. "Instead she cheated on me and not only for once but everynight"

My eyes grew widened. What?

"W-what? Please stop lying!" I yelled, my eyebrows coming together once again. My mom can't do that! Never! She loved him more than anyone and anything than why would she cheated on him??!

"She cheated on me with Mason's father..  Michael Devvero"

As soon as those words left his mouth, I stepped back couldn't believing my ears. My heart dropped to my stomach. I looked up at Mason to see him already staring at me.

"It's the truth.. bella, My dad cheated on my mother with your mother" Mason said, his jaw clenched and I could felt the disappointment and anger in him.

"Please- this can't be truth" I gasped and stumbled back but Mason instantly gripped my waist pulling me in his arms, in a hug that I needed badly at this moment. I gripped into his collar breaking into sobbing.

"Julia cheated on me every fucking night and if you think I'm still lying than go and asked her. She's the reason of Mason's mother's death, figlia" dad grits, his jaw clenched from the anger.

"I've seen it by my own eyes" Mason sighed, I could see the sadness and the anger in his eyes as he looked down into my eyes. "And I didn't even knew she was your mother, baby"

"Why didn't you told me everything earlier??" I asked.

"I didn't wanted to see you like this, broken and upset" he whispered leaning his forehead against mine. "It hurts to see you like this.. "

"I-I'm so sorry- Mason" I sobbed leaning my forehead against his chest crying. I couldn't believed this. My mother was the reason for his mother death. Oh my god. I don't know what to do. I can't believed this.

"I-I'm so.. so sorry" I said, my voice crack and more tears pouring down my face by as he ran his hands through my hair trying to calm me down. But it wasn't working. I couldn't take the pain.

"Shh.. calm down.. its okay" He soothe.

He should've been mad with me, leave me, yelled at me and god knows what but here he's consoling me in his embrace. God why does he love me so much even after knowing I'm the daughter of his mother's death reason. Julia hansel.

"I loved that woman so much, Mason " I sobbed, wrapping my arms around his neck and crying in the crook of his neck. "Why it always happened with me? What's wrong with me, Mason, why my life is so hard?"

"Why can't I be loved?" I asked sobbing loudly.

Mason slightly pulled back, cupping my cheeks and wiping the tears that poured down my face.

"There's nothing wrong with you, did you heard me?" He said, his voice firmed. "Not a damn thing is wrong with you. It's not your fault, it's her fault, Bella. You're nothing like her, You're perfect.. so damn perfect" he kissed my forehead.

God, I loved that woman so much but- she cheated on my dad and since my childhood till now she lied to me. She's the reason of Mason's mother death. If she didn't cheated with her husband than she wouldn't have fell sick and have got cancer. She's death and Mason being always upset for her ____  that's all because of my mother.

God..  I can't forgive her never ever.

Mason pulled me back in his chest, running his hands through my hair as I sobbed in his chest releasing all my pains, anger, betrayal and sadness.

"You h-hates me right n-now.. I'm s-sorry" I said softly sobbing in his chest. "I'm s-sorry.. your mother death because of-" he cut me off.

"I'll never hate you bella.. no matter what happens" he kissed the top of my head. "I love you and I'll always no matter what"

"Take her home.. Mason" Dad said before letting out a sighed. "I'll be there after I finished up some of my works"

"I'm sorry, baby" he whispered in my ear before picking me up in the bridal style and walking out from my office and the building. My hands were still wrapped around his neck as I softly cried in the crook of his neck. As he got onto the car with me on his lap, the car got filled with my hiccups and soft sobs.

"I'm sorry.. Princess" he whispered again, gently pressing his lips against mine. I pulled back leaning my forehead against his, I couldn't even looked into his eyes from guilty. He kissed my cheeks and before he could kissed me again, I pulled away burying my face in the crook of his neck.

"I love you Angel and I'll always.. until my last breathe left my body.." he whispered taking my hand and kissing my each knuckles.

Guilty was eating me inside..

"I'm sorry.. Mason.. " I whispered shutting my eyes closed as a tear rolled down my right cheek. "I'm really.. "
